Anti Slavery Policy Statement

SAVIC Technologies' commitment to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitative labor practices.

Anti Slavery Policy Statement

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which involve the deprivation of a person's liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

SAVIC takes a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We also implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery does not exist anywhere in our business or supply chains.

We are committed to ensuring transparency in our operations and in our approach to combating modern slavery throughout our supply chains, in accordance with our disclosure obligations under applicable law.

We expect the same high standards from all contractors, suppliers, and business partners. We will continue to include specific prohibitions against forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, and anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, in our contracting processes.

This policy applies to all individuals who work for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, directors, officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, interns, agents, contractors, consultants, third-party representatives, and business partners.

This policy is not part of any employee's employment contract, and we reserve the right to change it at any time.

Policy Responsibilities

SAVIC is responsible for implementing this policy on a daily basis, monitoring its usage and effectiveness, dealing with questions about it, and reviewing internal control systems and processes to ensure they are effective in combating modern slavery.

Management at all levels is responsible for ensuring that people reporting to them understand and comply with this policy, and that they receive proper and ongoing training on it and on the subject of modern slavery in supply chains.

Comments, suggestions, or queries about this policy are encouraged and may be sent to hr@savictech.com.

Policy Compliance

Everyone working for us or under our authority must read, understand, and enforce this policy. The prevention, identification, and reporting of modern slavery in any element of our business or supply chains is everyone's duty.

You must refrain from engaging in any activity that might lead to or suggest a breach of this policy.

If you believe or suspect that a conflict with this policy has occurred or may occur, you must notify your line manager or a business director as soon as possible.

You are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or in any tier of our supply chain at the earliest opportunity.

Where appropriate, and with the welfare and safety of workers as a priority, we will support and guide suppliers to help them address coercive, abusive, and exploitative work practices in their own business and supply chains.

We want to promote transparency and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith under this policy, even if those concerns prove to be mistaken.

We are committed to ensuring that no one suffers adverse treatment as a result of reporting in good faith that modern slavery in any form is, or may be, occurring in our business or supplier network.

Dismissal, disciplinary action, threats, or other unfavorable treatment because of a good-faith report is considered detrimental treatment. If you believe you have been subjected to such treatment, notify your line manager immediately and follow the formal complaint process if needed.

Communication & Awareness

Training on this policy, and on the risk our company faces from modern slavery in supply chains, forms part of the induction process for new employees. Updates will also be shared through established communication channels.

Our zero-tolerance stance to modern slavery must be communicated to suppliers, contractors, and business partners from the beginning of every business relationship and reinforced where appropriate.

Policy Breaches

Any employee who breaches this policy may face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for misconduct. If other persons or organizations working on our behalf violate this policy, we reserve the right to terminate our relationship with them immediately.
