Depending on permissions, the data in the People Profile is shared with peers, managers, the entire company or reserved for personal use.
The People Profile can be maintained by the employee him- or herself, or by the employee's manager. The data contained in the employee's profile can be used in further talent management processes.

If you use Employee Central as your core HR system, you can choose to activate integration to EC in order to optimize the transition of candidates to new hires.
If you use position management, you can launch a job requisition from a position in the position org chart.
