The first SAP Business Technology Platform Hackathon #Hack2Build has been concluded and SAVIC won a € 5000 prize for winning as the overall winner.

What are the major industry problems faced by enterprises?
Stocks are distributed in retail on multiple levels and through different channels, including distributors, stockists, and ecommerce. The 360-degree view of stock is not available to the management, so the sales team can do nothing but react accordingly. Exhaustion of stock at the granular level is not displayed. Marketing or sales planning cannot be made with stock situations for certain locations or sectors.

In order to solve this issue we have come up with an effective solution by introducing you to a cloud-based digital control facility that provides real-time 360 degree visibility for new and existing systems to disruptively enhance customer, partner, and employee experiences, thereby increasing profits, reducing waste, and cutting losses across the enterprise.

What is a 360-degree view of stock alerts?
SAVIC cloud-based application called DriShti Provides a simplified way for FMCGs to manage their stock and supply chain. Data will be curated from suppliers, stockists, e-commerce platforms, and other sources in SAP BTP data lakes helping customers get a holistic and real time insight into stock status across various stages in the supply chain. Manufacturers of FMCG products can view 360-degree views of stock status and receive real-time alerts and actionable insights through a digital dashboard. The SAVIC team plans on increasing and building tools that will allow data to be extracted from multiple sources across many platforms. This results in greater profitability, reduced loss and reduced wastage for the company. It also creates digital automation to enhance operational excellence, growth, and business innovation in the areas of sales and marketing, operations and supply chain procurement, people and hiring, and finance. DriShti provides users with a unified and business-centric platform to integrate and harness data and expand the business growth.
